1. Check the brake lining thickness of the slitting machine. Replace it when severely worn.
2. Check if the linear guides of the slitting machine are clean, and clean them if needed.
3. Check whether the transmission belt of the slitting machine maintains proper tension.
4. Check for air leaks in the slitting machine's pneumatic system and ensure the air filter is clean. Clean the filter element at least once a month.
5. Inspect the surface of all outer rubber rollers on the slitting machine to prevent contact with cutting tools, which can damage the surface. Remember to gently wipe the rollers weekly with a lint-free cloth dampened with 1 liter of cleaning solution (warm water mixed with low-surface-tension soap or solvent is recommended).
6. Check the exhaust fan filter of the slitting machine. If it accumulates too much dirt and cannot be cleaned thoroughly, replace it in a timely manner.

7. When rollers are dirty, clean them with fine gauze dipped in industrial alcohol. However, avoid using alcohol to clean old parts of the slitting machine to prevent rust.
